The song pays tribute to classic British songwriters, with a 60s aesthetic and the poppy influence of Paul McCartney giving way to full-on art-pop, psychedelic textures. It’s a warm, sunny release filled with nostalgia and hooks, crafted by a tight band at the peak of their powers. He describes it as being “about falling for someone.
